Here’s a simple and effective face exercise you would like.

This face exercise tones and firms your jaw line and chin. It helps to tighten your jowl muscles and reduce a double chin.

The facial exercise targets your chin muscles, muscles at the front of your neck, and the muscles around your mouth.

Face Exercise – Firm Your Jaw Line And Chin

1. Sit upright and keep your face relaxed.
2. Pull your lower lip upward so that your chin wrinkles.
3. Hold for 3 seconds.
4. Move your chin(lower jaw) downwards without moving the position of your head.
5. Feel the tension building in the muscles around the jaws.
6. Hold for 2 seconds.
7. Do this exercise 20 times.

Double chin and sagging jowls are rather common problems.

Face Exercises To Lift Your Morning Blues


This face exercises video lift my mood.

You see … I am not a morning person. I always need that extra 5 more minutes in bed. And I need motivation to rise and shine … my cup of hot steamy coffee with milk.

But this perky cereal lady change all that. She’s up with the rooster when the sun comes out.

Face Exercise To Create Fuller Lips


This is interesting. You can actually get fuller lips by doing face exercise.

Face Exercise Step 1

  • Drink a glass of water and dab on lip balm.

  • Pucker up your lips.
  • Press your hand on your puckered lips for 1-2 seconds.
  • Pull your hand away. Blow a kiss into the air.
  • Keep your forehead smooth during the exercise.
  • Do a set of 15.

Face Exercise Step 3

  • Form a “O” with your lips(like you are whistling) and exhale.
  • Do a set of 10.

Face Exercise Step 4

  • Close your mouth.
  • Pout your lips.
  • Hold for 10 seconds.
  • Relax
  • Do a set of 3.


To give your whole face a lift

  • Smile big. Open your mouth and eyes wide.
  • Hold for 10 seconds.
  • Do a set of 3.

Face Exercise Step 5

To plump your lips.
  • Inhale through your nose.
  • Hold your breath as you push the air to and fro between your cheeks for 10 seconds(imagine you are swishing mouth wash).
  • Exhale as if you are blowing a horn.
  • Do a set of 3.


Face Exercise Step 6

To bring out your lip colour

  • Tap your lips firmly 5 times using your middle and index fingers.


To get beautiful lips, do the exercise daily as it helps to stimulate the production of collagen.

Face Exercises – What Jack LaLanne Has To Say About Facial Exercises


I remembered vividly Jack LaLanne and his living-room exercises. But I did not know that he was doing face exercises too!

Jack LaLanne is the “The Godfather Of Fitness”, and America’s well loved fitness and exercise expert since the 1950s.

In the era of black and white TV, he has “The Jack LaLanne Show”. It turned into the longest health and exercise TV show in history, lasting a total of 34 years(1951-1985).

There is a series of Jack LaLanne face exercises on Youtube. I have too many favorites(they are quite amusing with the quirky sound effects). Anyway, I picked these 2 videos for you. They explain the benefits of face exercises and a testimony by Jack himself.

Jack talks about face exercises and the face muscles using Henry Gray’s Anatomy Chart.


Jack replies to the question “Did you have  face lift?”


I think Jack LaLanne looks amazingly youthful at his age. This fitness pioneer breaks all the gender barriers. He is the first fitness expert to inspire women to lift weights during a time when women wear pretty frocks. This makes me wonder, is he the first male trainer that shows people how to do face exercises.

Face Exercise To Firm Your Jowl


In this face exercise video, Rebacca Herrick, a Licensed Massage Therapist in North Carolina shows you how to firm your jowls with a face and neck workout.

She recommends doing the exercises 3-4 times a week in order to really make a difference in your jowl.

Face Exercise 1

  1. Tilt your head back and look up at the ceiling.
  2. Move your mouth in a chewing action for 20 times.
  3. Move your head back down to the normal position.
  4. Repeat exercise several times.


Face Exercise 2

  1. Tilt your head down towards the right shoulder.                                             (imagine you are touching the shoulder with your ear)
  2. Hold for 30 seconds.
  3. Do not shrug your shoulder. Keep the shoulder level.
  4. Move your head back to the normal position.
  5. Repeat exercise for the left shoulder.
  6. Next, slowly turn your head to the right, back to center, and to the left.


Face Exercise 3

  1. Look up at the ceiling.
  2. Pucker your lips (imagine you want to kiss the ceiling).
  3. Hold for 5 seconds.
  4. Move your head back to the normal position.
  5. Do a set of 5.
